Cambria Estate Winery is one of Santa Maria Valley and Santa Barbara County's most iconic, storied wineries dating back to 1986 when it was founded by wine icon Jess Jackson and his wife Barbara Banke. Today, the winery remains family-owned and operated, with daughters Katie (Katherine) and Julia Jackson serving as co-proprietors. The winery produces exceptional Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that are the truest expression of its single-vineyard sourcing from its eponymous Julia's Vineyard and Katherine's Vineyard. Originally planted in 1971, Cambria's land has been a premier producer of cool climate wines for more than 45 years. With one of the longest growing seasons in California, the unique climate at the Estate produces "refrigerated sunshine" that develops concentrated flavors in the grapes making Cambria ideally situated for cultivating Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals. The two primary vineyards are marked by depth of character, and a history of acclaim - most recently when Wine Spectator named the 2017 Katherine's Vineyard Chardonnay one of the Top 100 Wines of 2019.
