Pasta Stove Top Directions: What You Need: 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine; 1 Cup water; 3/4 Cup milk. (1) In a medium saucepan bring water, milk, Special Seasonings and butter or margarine to a boil. Then slowly stir in pasta. Return to a boil. (2) Reduce heat to medium. Boil uncovered, 9-10 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring frequently. (3) Sauce will be thin. Let stand 3 - 5 minutes to thicken. About 2-1/2 cups prepared. Enjoy! Make It a Meal: Easy As 1-2-3: (1) Stir in shredded, cooked chicken, chopped tomatoes, thinly sliced green onion and sliced celery into pasta before standing time. (2) Add crumbled blue cheese, after standing time. (3) Top with crumbled bacon, crushed red pepper flakes and chopped fresh basil. Microwaves Directions: In 2-quart microwaveable bowl, combine pasta, 1 cup water, 3/4 cup milk, 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine, and Special Seasonings. Microwave at high uncovered for 13 minutes or until pasta is tender. Let stand for 3-5 minutes. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Less Fat Directions: Follow Range Top or Microwave Directions, except substitute margarine with 1 teaspoon olive oil and use skim milk. Fat reduced to 2.5g from 11g per serving.
